Renault Twingo engine options

Different engine types for the Renault Twingo 1 from 1993 to 2007

The Twingo 1 received three petrol engines between 1993 and 2007. The 1.239 L C3G with single-point injection and timing chain (55 hp) powers the early cars until 1996. It gives way to the 1.149 L D7F with multi-point injection and timing belt, rated at 58 then 60 hp, joined in 2000 by the 75 hp 16-valve D4F. The timing drive differs from one engine to another: identify yours before ordering parts.
