The Passat B1 offers six inline four-cylinder engines with a timing belt. The petrol range spans the 55 hp 1.3 to the 110 hp 1.6 GLI, fuel-injected and taken from the Golf GTI, via the carburettor 1.5 and 1.6 units of 75 to 85 hp. Diesel is represented by the 50 hp 1.5 D from the Golf. Check the displacement and output of your Passat so you can order the parts that match its engine.
