Headlining for Volkswagen Polo 86C

Headlining for classic cars

The roof lining is an essential element in restoring the interior of your classic vehicle, combining aesthetics and comfort. At Mecatechnic, we offer a wide range of fabric, vinyl and mohair roof skins for iconic models such as the Renault 4, Porsche 356 and 911, and Volkswagen Beetle. Whether you're looking for a fabric with an original pattern or a smooth canvas for a more contemporary look, our selection will meet all your expectations.

What is the purpose of a headliner?

Not only does a roof lining improve the appearance of your vehicle's interior, it also helps to insulate the cabin against heat and noise. For classic vehicles, roof skins such as those in beige mohair or perforated vinyl can restore the original look while adding a modern touch with hard-wearing materials.

Mecatechnic's selection of rooflights for vintage vehicles

At Mecatechnic, we offer rooflights tailored to the needs of classic car enthusiasts. For example, white or black rooflights for Porsche 356s without sunroofs, or mohair cloths for Beetles are available in different finishes to match the style of each vehicle. Some models, like the perforated vinyl headlining for Beetles from the 60s and 70s, offer an authentic, durable finish.

How do I choose the right headliner?

Your choice of headliner depends on a number of criteria: the model of your vehicle, the production period and the type of finish you want. For an original look, opt for the diamond-tipped fabric compatible with Renault R4s and other models from the 60s. For a more classic look, smooth or perforated vinyl headliners are ideal for Volkswagens and Porsches from later decades.

Why put your trust in Mecatechnic?

As a specialist in parts for classic vehicles, Mecatechnic ensures the quality and compatibility of each headliner. Our products are selected for their faithfulness to the original and their durability, whether for a rare Porsche or a classic Beetle.
