Product description

An evolution of version "1", theIGNITOR 2 recognizes the starting phase and sends more voltage to the spark plugs. This new kit contains a microprocessor that manages the Dwell angle and sends more power from the coil between 2000 and 5000 rpm. Can be used with a Flame-Thrower 2 coil at 45,000V (0.6 ohms) or 60,000V (0.45 ohms).


For original BOSCH VW igniter with vacuum capsule since 1968.

This module is not suitable for original 6V igniters for models 1200 up to ->1973 (low body).

Na plaatsen van de magneetring, zit de rotor te hoog waardoor hij net meer in de nok pakt. Er zit geen andere rotor bij de kit. Bestaan er aangepaste rotors?

De handleiding zegt dat er geen verdere aanpassingen nodig zijn aan de verdeler. Na installatie past het deksel niet meer omdat de originele rotor te hoog zit. Er zit ook geen passende rotor in de kit.
