CSP tachometric electric cut-off relay for 12 V electric fuel pump

With a mechanical fuel pump, stopping the engine stops the fuel pump.
The installation of an electric fuel pump, especially for prepared engines, requires the installation of a cut-off relay for safety reasons and to avoid any risk of fire.
By taking the information from the coil, the safety cut-off relay will deactivate the pump, for example, in the event of an accident.
This CSP system also protects the fuel pump from damage (risk of overheating), which can occur when the engine is switched off and the ignition switched on.
When the ignition is switched on, the relay switches the fuel pump on for about 2 seconds and then off again. This prevents the pump from overheating. The relay then switches on only when a running engine is detected via the ignition coil connection. If the engine stops, the relay disconnects the power supply to the fuel pump.
