Ten versions of the E3 saloon, built from 08/1968 to 02/1977, appear in this table. The M30 inline-six petrol engine, with a timing chain, grows here from 2.5 to 3.3 litres and from 150 to 200 hp. Carburettors are the norm, except on two fuel-injected versions: the 3.0 Si, with D-Jetronic and then L-Jetronic from 07/1975, and the 3.3 Li, with L-Jetronic. The long-wheelbase “L” saloons and the North American market Bavarias each have their own row: find yours to order matching parts.
