The W203 C-Class is covered here from 2000 to 2007 by fifteen engines: eleven petrol and four common-rail CDI diesels. On the petrol side, the M111 and M271 four-cylinders, often supercharged, sit alongside the M112 and M272 V6s and the M113 V8 of the C55 AMG, from 122 to 367 hp. The OM611, OM646, OM612 and OM642 diesels deliver 116 to 224 hp. All versions have chain-driven timing. The same badge, such as C180 or C200, hides two engines depending on the year: check before you order.
