Optimum braking is essential when using your vehicle, and your braking system must be maintained and serviced regularly.
When you change your wheel cylinders, a brake hose or even a pipe, you need to bleed your circuit.
Mecatechnic.com offers a wide range of tools for this purpose.
The principle is simple: all you have to do is pressurise your brake system, either directly by depressing your brake pedal (take care not to damage the vehicle) or by using a bleeder that fits directly onto the brake chamber.
For this second option, the bleeder must be positioned on the reservoir, and pressure is applied either by pumping TA00378 or via the spare wheel TA00390. Using a transparent hose and a fluid collector, open the bleeder screw located opposite the master cylinder. Let the air bubbles escape and you're done. Repeat this operation on the other bleed screws.
Take the opportunity to change your brake fluid regularly. And yes, it does accumulate moisture, which can affect your braking.
