Rubber / Insulation seal on the clip of the interior door panel for the VW Beetle (Nov 1957–Jul 1966), Karmann Ghia, Type 3 and Bay Window Estate

This rubber seal fits directly into the 7 mm holes in the door panel or bodywork before fitting your panel clips. It fulfils a dual and essential role: it ensures a perfect seal to protect the cardboard in your interior trim from water run-off, and provides sound insulation by eliminating squeaking noises and vibrations.

Suitable for VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3 and Bay Window Combi

This small rubber seal is crucial for protecting your chipboard door panels from moisture seeping into the door. Always replace any cracked or worn seals when dismantling.

Fitting: Insert the rubber grommet into the 7 mm hole in the sheet metal, then snap the metal clip’s shank into place at the centre of the grommet.
