Kit of Double Row IMS Bearing + Tools for Porsche 986 Boxster (1997-2001)

Kit including RS13584 tools + double row IMS bearing RS13582. For Porsche 986 Boxster produced until May 2001 :

- 986 2.5 Boxster - 204 hp (M96.20) from 1997 to 1999
- 986 2.7 Boxster - 220 hp (M96.22) from 2000 to 2001
- 986 3.2 Boxster S - 252 hp (M96.21) from 2000 to 2001

In order to facilitate the assembly of the bearing and to preserve its integrity. It is strongly recommended to cool it before, in a freezer for 2 hours and in addition, to heat (to 120 degrees) the area of the engine block which will receive the IMS.

Also, it is imperative to ensure that there is no oil in the intermediate shaft tube before installing the bearing!
Centrifugal force, combined with residual oil, causes a counterweight which will destroy the bearing prematurely
