Exhaust manifold studs play an essential role in the engine's exhaust system. Their main purpose is to hold the exhaust manifold securely in place, and to ensure a watertight seal between the manifold and the rest of the exhaust system.

Studs are used to securely and stably fix the exhaust manifold to the engine. They pass through the manifold and are tightened with bolts, holding the entire exhaust manifold in place during engine operation.
