Needle bearing fixed in the engine flywheel which guides the gearbox shaft.
External diameter: 21.20 mm
Internal diameter: 15.40 mm

For Beetle & Karmann Ghia, engines:
- Type 1: 1200, 1300, 1500, 1600cc

For Split Screen & Bay Window Camper, engines:
- Type 1: 1200, 1500, 1600 cc
- Type 4: 1700, 1800, 2000cc

For Transporter T25/T3, engines:
- Type 4: 2000 cc air cooled
- Type WBX: 1900, 2100 cc water cooled
- 1.6 TD (JX from engine no. 207631 onwards->)
