Over time, braids and screw covers wear down, yellowing, cracking and finally cracking. Unprotected, the screws fixed to the angle between the walls and the roof, or to the edges of doors and gates, end up letting rainwater seep inside your caravan or motorhome. Replacing screw covers before they tear becomes a necessity. It also adds an aesthetic touch.

Width: 12 mm.
Color: gray.
Made of plastic
Sold in 20-meter strips.

Tip: remember to clean the grooves thoroughly before fitting the new braid. You can use a cartridge tip (silicone, mastic sealant, etc.) cut slightly narrower than the joint to make it easier to fit the screw cover.

I bought it for the molding of the motorhome, screw cap and I have given it to the body shop, who told me that it is perfect for the aforementioned molding, I really needed 34 meters, but as it is sold in packs of 20 m. I bought 2, so I guess I will have some left over. The price is not cheap but it seems of good quality and of this size and in this color ( beige ), I could not find it anywhere else.
