This Optimate 6 charger and charge maintainer is ideal for recovering heavily discharged and sulphated 12-volt batteries with very fast charging times.
Charging, recovering and maintaining your 12V waterproof battery is done in 9 automated steps.
What is battery regeneration?
The principle is to break up the lead sulfate crystals that have formed over time, by sending strong electrical impulses.
The resonance thus created weakens and dissolves this deposit, which is harmful to your battery's operation.
The OPTIMATE 6 charger enables you to recover a sulfated battery when it is not mechanically damaged or corroded.

The OPTIMATE 6 charger automatically adapts to the size of the battery, thanks to its integrated Ampmatic microprocessor, and optimizes its charging up to 144Ah.

- for STD / AGM / GEL batteries with nominal capacities from 3 Ah to 144 Ah
- no risk of overcharging. Totally safe for vehicle electronics. Spark suppression.

tests on a battery probably cut although recent, cannot give an objective opinion on this material without making it work on other batteries. Besides, this is only a device for desulphating reasonably sulphated batteries. The real battery cleaning must be done by emptying the electrolysis and adding distilled water, which will transform the sulphate back into acid during several slow charges. So it takes a long time, and I've only had this equipment for 1 week. I've noticed that it works as expected, and its high-frequency program works. To judge its effectiveness, you need to have the "damaged" battery to hand, but in view of the way it works, it will be useful for the 15 100A/h batteries I have. In fact, large batteries that can be maintained are in short supply. A lead-acid battery is indestructible if you manage to transform the sulphate back into lead.

Great Just the instructions for the different programs: not easy to understand the status of the different LEDs. But in the end, since everything is automatic and secure, all you have to do is plug in and wait for everything to turn green.
