These types of screwdrivers are recommended for preventing them from slipping on the screw heads and damaging them.

Similar to the Philips shape but with a smaller central profile.

High quality! Used on particularly tight screws. You have to tap the screwdriver to loosen the thread. The recess fits snugly around the head of the screw, and you can apply high torque without damaging the screw. It's a pity that the tools aren't identified with a clearly legible silkscreen.
