Details about : 65-70°C thermostat on Type 1 engine for Volkswagen Beetle& Combi

This thermostat actuates the opening and closing of flaps in the cooling turbine. An essential component for the smooth running of the engine, regulates the cylinder temperature, enables the heating and cooling time to be complied with. Inexpensive solution for replacing the original.

For Beetle, Karmann-Ghia, Type 3, 181, Combi
air-cooled engines: 1200, 1300, 1500, 1600 cc
(can be used as replacement on 1.6 CT, 1.7, 1.8, 2.0 l).

Part for vehicles originating from VW Mexico, requires adaptation of the fastener, which does not have the same curvature as the original German version. The original accordion-type model is no longer available on the market.
