Restoration of a 1" diameter American thread. The tool is of robust design and can be used to work on damaged threads. The advantage is that you can work on several diameters with a single tool, especially large ones. The work is still less precise than with a die, but the cost is more affordable. You need to keep an eye on the pin that holds the knives, as it can move.
