We get a little less FM for sure, but at least the antenna doesn't rip off when you go through the laundry roll.

Good, but the photo may lead you to believe that the black is almost satin-like, whereas it's actually very shiny. I sanded and repainted it to match the antenna base. Doesn't affect reception, but I have an amplifier.
