Our remanufactured calipers benefit from the highest quality remanufacturing available on the market. Return and refund conditions for core parts
Your old part must be returned in the box of the one you will receive. Simply affix the pre-addressed return shipping label, addressed to MECATECHNIC, which you will receive with your remanufactured caliper, and send it back to us. This will expedite the processing and refund of your deposit. To ensure this, please adhere to the following conditions for returning your deposit: - The returned caliper must be exactly the same as the one originally fitted to the vehicle and clearly identifiable by its part number and OEN code. - It must be completely drained of brake fluid, be complete, and free of any peripheral components. No hoses, no parts from the running gear (stub axles, tie rods, etc.).
- Bolts, clips, connecting screws, and bleed screws must be included in the package.
- The cast iron of the returned caliper must not have suffered excessive corrosion, must not have been machined or drilled, and must not be broken or show any visible cracks.
- Each caliper will be individually inspected three times: upon receipt of the return shipment by MECATECHNIC before shipment to our partner; upon receipt by our partner before cleaning and reconditioning. (Note: During galvanizing, major defects previously undetectable (micro-cracks) may appear. For safety reasons, the caliper in question cannot be reconditioned; our customer service will contact you to find the best solution.)
Only calipers meeting the aforementioned reconditioning requirements will be accepted. The above items may be subject to reconditioning and will be credited back to your account. Inspection of your caliper requires 6 to 8 weeks from receipt of the deposit by MECATECHNIC. We will inform you by email of the results of the successive inspections and whether or not the deposit paid will be refunded.
