I'm fitting this type of bulb to a 1996 Honda 125 CM motorcycle, with a round Europen 40/45 W base. With this type of bulb, you can fit an H4 with 60/55W, which gives even better lighting. The components of the electrical circuit - headlight, alternator, fuse, battery - handle the "surplus" power.
