Rear axle reinforcement kit for Bmw 3 Series:
- Compatible with all Bmw 3 Series E46 Sedan, Touring, Compact, Coupé and Cabriolet engines from 09/1997 to 12/2006.
- Also suitable for the M3 E46 s54 sports version.
This reinforcement kit is designed to repair therear axle. Over time, and depending on the engine, the rear axle tends to pull away from the anchoring point of the silentblocs, which is why Mecatechnic offers you the option of repairing it using steel reinforcement plates .
Installation must be carried out by a professional, as cutting out the chassis is necessary if the axle anchoring points are already cracked or torn, as well as welding beads to preserve the reinforcement over time.

Rear axle only for vehicles with 18 mm rear sway bar with metal/rubber pads (bushes) and not hydraulic bearings:
- Golf 4 and Bora, Saloon and Estate (except 4Motion)
- New Beetle up to chassis No. ->1C-X-402129 and from chassis No.1C-Y-487885 or No. 9C-Y-644362. (except 4Motion)
