As the owner of a 40 year old vehicle, I am pleased to have found an all-in-one car radio that is easy to install.
I find this solution ideal for my vw cox cabriolet. I'm very happy with it.
WORKS WELL, IT'S WHAT I WANTED
This is the only car radio with integrated speakers on the market; I bought it for a temporary installation in a basic Dacia Sandero (which has no speaker harness: a heresy). This car radio has 2 particular advantages: - Radio stations and settings are stored in non-volatile memory (retained even without a 12V power supply, either directly or via the ignition key). - The car radio operates autonomously (without any power supply) for approx. 1 hour (according to the manual; I only used this function for 15 minutes). The sound may be a little weak, but it's more than adequate for 'normal' use. What's more, you can connect the car's speakers via the ISO socket. MP3 file tags scroll on the screen alternately (album, artist and song). Last but not least, the MP3 currently playing resumes in the right place when the ignition is switched off: something the car radio in my previous vehicle didn't do. All in all: great value for money, super-fast installation (5 min.) and trouble-free operation.
Product within my expectations.
