A worn rod can impair smooth gear changes, it is advisable to change it at the same time as the clutch push rod.
Length: 342 mm
For 5-speed manual gearbox only.

For Golf 3 and Vento:
- 1.4 60hp (AEX)
- 1.6 75hp (AEA, AEE)
- 1.6 100hp (AEK, AFT, AKS)
- 1.8 75hp and 90hp (AAM, ABS, ADZ)
- 1.9 Diesel 64hp (1Y, AEY)
- 1.9 turbo Diesel 75hp (AAZ)
