- 987 3.4 Boxster S phase 1 - 295 hp (M97.21) from 2007 to 2008
- 987 3.4 Boxster RS 60 Spyder - 303 hp (M97.22) of 2008
- 987 2.9 Boxster phase 2 - 255 hp (MA1.20) from 2009 to 2012
- 987 3.4 Boxster S phase 2 - 310 hp (MA1.21) from 2009 to 2012
This set includes :
- A brass gear
- A grease packet
A current failure on the Boxster is the electric soft top blocked with the warning light on.
This is sometimes the handbrake switch, or even tie-rod ball joint (RS91126).
The other possibility is the breakage of the top "gearbox" pinion.
There is a right and a left gearbox (or motor).
Porsche makes the costly replacement of the entire part.
This pinion gives you the possibility of simply replacing what breaks : the gear.
Check the 2 motors.

Ordered in the afternoon, received the next morning.
They tell me that they have the two sprockets the right and left, I pay and they send me only one and tell me that the other one they do not have, they refund me the money of 1, and I want only one, it is useless!!!!! THEY DO NOT REIMBURSE ME NOR DO THEY ANSWER MY REQUEST, THEY HAVE ONLY REIMBURSED ME FOR THE ONE THEY HAVE NOT SENT ME, BUT ONE WITHOUT THE OTHER IS USELESS TO ME.
