Necessary when replacing or reconditioning the cylinder head, this kit, also known as a break-in kit, will allow you to replace all the gaskets around the top of the engine of your VW Golf 2 or Jetta 2.

This upper engine gasket kit for Golf 2 and Jetta 2 contains :
- Cylinder head gasket
- Valve stem gaskets
- Camshaft gaskets
- Manifold gaskets (intake and exhaust)
- Cylinder head cover gasket in cork version

As the years go by and the engine heats up, the various gaskets made of paper or rubber lose their tightness.
Oil and coolant consumption or leaks (externally or towards the cylinders) indicate the ageing of engine gaskets and the need to replace them on your Volkswagen Golf 2 or Jetta 2.

This top engine gasket kit is compatible with the following engines:
- 1.6 carburetor 75hp (EZ)
- 1.8 carburetor 90hp (GU)
- 1.8 GTi 8s 112hp (EV, PB)

Please note that replacing or reconditioning the cylinder head / head gasket requires a certain level of mechanical expertise.
