UNIL OPAL X-TRA 5W40 is a top-of-the-range lubricant providing perfect protection for gasoline and diesel engines, turbocharged or naturally-aspirated, with direct or indirect injection, and their aftertreatment systems, while offering extended drain intervals (up to 30,000km). This special oil is required by RENAULT for engines with particulate filters(FAP) introduced after November 2007. It can be used on all vehicles requiring RN 0720 or SAE 5W40 grade.

Benefits :
- Protects particulate filters against clogging thanks to its very low sulfur and sulfated ash content.
- Avoidsoil consumption compared with SAE 5W30 oils, which are more fluid when hot.
- Oxidizes 6 times less quickly than an oil meeting ACEA C3 standard (extending oil change intervals up to 30,000 km).
