Description Product
The front door strike screw is an essential component of a door's locking system. The striker is the metal part that holds the door latch bolt when the door is closed, enabling the door to be locked.
The striker screw secures the striker to the vehicle structure at the door jamb. It holds the striker in place so that the lock can properly engage the striker when the door is closed.
When you close the door, the lock bolt (or latch) moves and locks into the strike plate. The keeper screw therefore plays a key role in ensuring that the keeper stays securely in place and continues to receive the bolt.
This front door striker screw is also suitable for securing the rear hood.
Suitable for VW Combi Split up to 08/1963.
