An adaptation is necessary to use the cylinders on a 1303 cabriolet (diameter of the mountings greater than the diameter of the hole). But once you've modified the brackets, it's great.

The 540n's hold the hood well, but you have to modify the cylinder on both sides. Assembly is not quite "plug n play" as described. But the price is right.
