On a Golf 2, the original part had deformed and was no longer watertight. The new part is perfect in exchange, I even have a gasket on it, which is not specified in the catalog.

I didn't see the gasket that was fitted in the photo, so I ordered one. I also ordered the 3 other gaskets that were not delivered with it. I would have liked to have been told that it was strongly recommended not to fit the old ones. I'm just a do-it-yourselfer and I would have liked to know if I had to add anything to the seals (grease type or ...), as a precaution for assembly. Well, it works ... 9.9 /10 ( because of the paid gasket I still have . )
