The ends were too hard, so it was difficult to put them in place - my fingers don't thank the manufacturer! You can't heat rubber, otherwise it will harden even more. I had to drill a bit bigger behind the headlights, but on the fender side, I couldn't drill because the fuel tank is almost behind them. I've read that some people have installed them easily, which means that there are different qualities of flexibility in these items.
