This "Ignitor 1" electronic ignition module from Pertronix is designed for vehicles with a 12-volt electrical circuit in good working order without loss of current.

For original BOSCH VW igniter with high body and vacuum capsule since 1968.

This module is not suitable for original 6V igniters for models 1200 up to ->1973 (low body).

My 181 has never run so well. So we installed it in our 2 other VWs. Easy to install. The screws supplied are too small. The part has to be tapped to fit a larger screw.

Simple assembly and stunning results. The only drawback is that the screws are in inches. So not adapted to our tools. Difficult to tighten a bolt if you don't have the right wrench.

Good coil, but nothing more than a Bosch when measured with an ohmmeter, the Bosch comes out even better.

the magnet ring was badly cut, so I broke it when I put it on the distributor shaft.

Instructions in English, the ring does not fit on the igniter shaft, I broke it while forcing....
