The shock absorber stop is a part used in vehicle suspension systems. Its main function is to limit the movement of the shock absorber when it reaches its maximum stroke, i.e. when it is fully compressed. This prevents damage to the part, while providing a form of protection and additional comfort during impacts.

The main functions of the shock absorber stop are :

Protection of internal components: When the shock absorber is fully compressed, the stop prevents internal parts from colliding with each other, which could lead to damage.

Shock reduction: The shock absorber helps to absorb the last shocks when the shock absorber reaches the end of its stroke, thus avoiding sudden vibrations that could affect vehicle stability.

Comfort: It also enhances driving comfort, by reducing noise and jolts during extreme suspension movements.

Sold individually, long version, suitable for VW Transporter T25 / T3 from 05/1979 to 07/1992, also suitable for low-loader vehicles.

Load ratings: 800kg (petrol) and 785kg (diesel).
