This flat plug pressure switch for Mehari (10/1968-07/1987) - M12x1.5 is the oil sight glass relay.
Screwed directly onto the engine block, it lights up the oil level indicator on your dashboard.
A worn Mehari oil pressure gauge won't indicate a possible oil shortage, and could lead to engine failure.
Be sure to replace it if you have any doubts.
It is connected by a flat plug.
