Located between the gearbox output and the drive shaft for those in the "front" position, or between the drive shaft and the rear axle for those in the "rear" position
Some models with double flector have the same at front and rear

For E90, E91 and E92 :
- 320 d N47 with manual gearbox (front-rear position)
- 325 d M57N2 with automatic gearbox (front/rear position)
- 330 xd M57N2 since 09/07 with automatic gearbox (rear position)
- 335 d M57N2 (front position)
- 335 i N54 (front position)

For E93 :
- 320 d N47 with manual gearbox (front/rear position)
- 325 d M57N2 with automatic gearbox (front/rear position)
- 335 i N54 (front position)
