Complete MTS TECHNIK Comfort Series height-adjustable threaded combination suspension kit for Volkswagen Golf 1 and Scirocco:
Golf 1 Sedan :
- All petrol and diesel models from 02/1974 to 12/1983 (including GTI)
Golf 1 Cabriolet :
- 1.5L, 1.6L, 1.8L from 01/1979 to 07/1993
Jetta 1 :
- All petrol and diesel models from 08/1979 to 2/1984
Scirocco 1 type 53 :
- 1.1L, 1.3L, 1.5L, 1.6L from 02/1974 to 03/1981
Scirroco 2 type 53B :
- All models from 04/1981 to 07/1992 (including 16S)
ATTENTION: Not suitable for Golf 1 Caddy. On the Golf 1 GTI model, the chassis is already lowered by -15mm compared with the standard chassis. This kit will therefore only allow -20mm front and -65mm rear lowering on GTI!
Kit includes :
- 2 twin-tube gas-hydraulic front shock absorbers, adjustable from -35mm to -80mm
- 2 rear twin-tube gas-hydraulic shock absorbers adjustable from -35mm to -80mm

This MTS Technik kit is assembled with main springs manufactured by EIBACH and developed in 3 versions (Street, Comfort and Sport). The springs in this Comfort Series kit have been specially designed to maintain maximum suspension comfort in all circumstances, without sacrificing roadholding.
These shock absorbers are twin-tube gas-hydraulic versions. Pressurized gas acts directly on the hydraulic fluid, eliminating the "foaming" effect of oil (an undesirable phenomenon typical of oil dampers), for maximum efficiency.
Their setting is fixed, not adjustable in hardness.
Shock absorber bodies are galvanized for corrosion resistance and longevity.
Front and rear suspension bearings are not included.
We advise you to replace them with new ones when you change the suspension.
Depending on your lowering settings and the type of rims you're using, you may need to fit spacers for a perfect fit.
This kit comes with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty.
