from chassis N° 3 933 185->

(Front mounting ->04/1961 possible with 24 mm arm part no. VJ51415).

- Karmann-Ghia all models 08/1961->

from chassis N° 3 939 185->

- Type 3 all models 04/1961->

- 181 from 1969 to 1979

Arm diameter: 24 mm

Once the steering gear has been installed on the vehicle, it must be adjusted for hardness (operating play).

Make sure there are no hard points in the central position.

I've fitted the housing but haven't done a test drive. The box leaks, it has play and maneuvering is difficult! Very disappointing result. I don't intend to keep it.
