We recommend that you replace the cylinder head bolts on your engine block after opening it for maintenance and/or repair (e.g. replacing the cylinder head gasket). These screws require a specific tightening procedure and cannot be reused on reassembly.

They seem to be of much better quality than the original ones, perhaps that's why the screw head is larger, and why you need a larger female torx socket than the one used for disassembly.
