Details about : Soundproofing sheet 1 x 0.5 m - bituminous surface on grey felt - motorhomes and vans

Insulating the floor of your van or motorhome that needs renovating is easy with sound insulation that has been specially treated with a vibration-damping bituminous underlay. Allowing you to enjoy your ride in peace and quiet and well insulated!
The insulation comes in the form of a 7 mm thick sheet measuring 1 x 0.5 m, to be glued to the floor of your vehicle.

Technical specifications:
- 5.5 mm of felt + 1.5 mm of heavy bitumen complex.
- Temperature resistance: -10° to 90°C.
- Weight: 3.5kg/m².
Product flammability not classified.
- Sheet weight: 1.85 kg.

Sold as a 1 x 0.5 m sheet.

Tip: clean and degrease the frame before gluing. Glue at an ambient temperature of at least 15°. If you need to shape it around concave or convex parts, you can make diamond tip type cuts. It is advisable to form a seal around the edge of your insulation in order to prevent moisture and water from getting in. Please note: this bituminous product can crack in cold conditions. We cannot be held liable for the weakening of the sheet. However, it is a good idea to heat the sheet before installation.

This "bituminous" soundproofing looks very similar to the original one on my 1970 Fat.

Interesting product because it's not very thick. Unfortunately, self-adhesive bituminous sheets without felt are not available on the site (even thinner).
