This "carrot" is at the end of the speedometer cable and is housed in the gearbox.

The clip on the cable ended up inside the pinion. This was an uncomfortable and dangerous situation, as I ran out of speedometer twice, and had to dismantle it three times. Today I still haven't used my vehicle again, and I don't know if it's going to last.
