Description Product
The flywheel oil seal (also known as the flywheel gasket) is a key component in a car's transmission system. It is located behind the flywheel, which plays an important role in engine starting and operation. The spinnaker seal seals the interface between the flywheel and the drive shaft, preventing leakage of fluids, particularly engine oil.
It's made up of several components, including a rubber or elastomer part that adapts to the movement of the drive shaft, while ensuring the seal.
The flywheel oil seal is a small but essential component for the proper operation of the engine and transmission system. If you notice oil leaks or performance problems, it's advisable to have the flywheel seal inspected and repaired as soon as possible. A defective spinnaker seal can lead to more serious and costly damage if not attended to in good time.
This large flywheel-side spinnaker seal is suitable for Type 4: 1700, 1800, 2000 cc air-cooled engines.
