Complete timing kit and water pump version with large roller for Porsche 944 chassis HN,JN, KN, LN and MN:

- 944 phase 2 - 2.5 - 163hp (M44.05 to 08) from 1987

- 944 phase 2 - 2.5 - 160hp (M44.09/M44.10) from 1988

- 944 phase 2 - 2.5 Turbo - 220hp (M44.51) from 1987 to 1988

- 944 phase 2 - 2.5 Turbo S/Cup M578 - 250hp (M44.52) from 1988

- 944 phase 2 - 2.5 Turbo - 250hp (M44.52) from 1989 to 1991

Kit contains :

- ContiTech timing belt

- original PORSCHE timing belt idler for automatic tensioner

- smooth timing belt idler (46 mm)

- balance shaft belt

- toothed balancer belt tensioner roller

- smooth idler for balancer belt

- water pump version for 46 mm roller and gasket

- thermostat and seals

- crankshaft oil seal

- balance shaft and camshaft spigot seals

Note that the left balance shaft and camshaft seals are identical (30x47 mm) and the right balance shaft seal is different (30x48 mm).

Your Porsche may have received the water pump assembly with small 32 mm diameter roller.

The motor may have been replaced in the past. The attachment point for this roller is therefore different on the water pump.

If this is the case, it's possible to fit the water pump with the large roller version (46 mm diameter) as shown here, but this will require a cut-out in the plastic timing cover on the engine block side, or replacement with OEM version 944 105 039 02 , which has the necessary opening.
