This TOOLATELIER adapter lets you use a ratchet or 1/4" square handle as if it were a torque wrench.
Its torque measurement range is from 6 to 30 Nm with an accuracy of /- 2%.

It can also be used for tightening or loosening.

Digital dial with 1/4" square

Supplied without type 2032 battery

Replacing the battery :

When changing the battery, the adapter must be reset to its initial state.

-Before inserting the new battery, press the ( ) button.
- Insert the battery (while holding down the ( ) button).
- Once the battery is in place, keep pressing for at least 6 seconds.

As I'm an amateur mechanic, working only on my 2 cars, I didn't want to spend too much on a torque wrench that I wouldn't use much. This device suits me fine. The only reservations, compared to a conventional wrench, are the readability of the display under certain conditions, and the accessibility of the torque measurement location.

This product is an ideal replacement for a torque wrench, at least for light-duty applications. It allows you to work with your entire range of conventional wrenches, and still have the option of calibrated tightening! An excellent idea.
