Sikaflex 521 UV mastic adhesive is based on Sika 's hybrid polyurethane technology (STP, Sika technology). It contains no isocyanates, solvents, VOCs, silicone or PVC.)
Polymerization takes place under the action of ambient humidity, to form a durable elastomer.

Product benefits:
- Excellent resistance to ageing and climatic conditions.
- Adheres to a wide range of substrates: wood, metals, primers and paints (two-component), ceramics and plastics.
- Flexible.
- Can be sanded and painted.
- Low odor.
- Non-corrosive.
- Temperature range: -40°C to 90°C.

We recommend it for mounting exterior components on your motorhome, caravan or van, requiring strong adhesion, goodresistance to ageing and UV rays. In particular, for the installation of spoilers, solar panels, etc. and any other objects in contact with bodywork.

Pretreat with optional SIKA CLEANER 205 degreaser.

Color: white.
Cartridge: 300ml.

The adhesive must not be applied at temperatures below 5°C or above 40°C. Optimum temperature range for substrate and adhesive is 15°C to 25°C. Use with a cartridge gun. For use with a cartridge gun.
by degreasing substrates with Sika Aktivator-205
(activating agent), available as an option.

I chose this product thanks to a YouTube tutorial. Never used it before. Easy to make external joints. It remains to be seen how weather-resistant this product is.
