Fiat 500 engine options

Different engine types for the Fiat 500 (1957 to 1975)

This table details the five twin-cylinder petrol versions of the Fiat 500, from the first 1957 version to the 1975 500 R. Displacement grows from 479 to 594 cc and output from 13.5 to 18 hp, with a single carburettor and chain-driven timing on every version. The 500 R inherits the 126 engine. The 500 F and 500 L share the same 110F engine: go by this code, rather than the version name alone, to find the right parts.
