For the first modern Mini generation, built from 2001 to 2006, the table details six versions. The One, Cooper and Cooper S share the 1,598 cc Tritec four-cylinder, from 90 to 170 hp, with the Cooper S adding an Eaton M45 supercharger. The One D models use a 1,364 cc common-rail Toyota 1ND-TV diesel, with 75 and later 88 hp. Timing is chain-driven across the whole range. When ordering parts, tell apart the pre- and post-facelift Cooper S, whose outputs differ.
