This front master cylinder brake hose for 2cv Van (06/1964-03/1968) - 4.5mm is of a higher quality than the original.

This front brake hose for 2CV in 4.5mm is compatible with assemblies requiring a key of 9. It was only used on 2CV sedan for 6 months at the launch of 2CV4 and 2CV6 . It succeeded to the intermediate assembly using banjos for the front brakes, and was replaced from June 1970 by a complete system in 3.5mm and key of 8. Caution!! your vehicle could have been modified, check the diameter of the wheel cylinder and the key necessary to tighten the ends of the brake hoses.

Use only DOT4 or DOT5 brake fluid.
LHM fluid is very corrosive to parts not intended for its use, the wrong brake fluid could severely damage your brake system.
