Details about : Crankshaft sensor for Porsche 996 Turbo, GT2 and GT3

This PMH sensor informs the DME case of your Porsche on the position of the crankshaft. This signal allows the ECU (DME) to adjust ignition and fuel injection. A malfunction of the engine (rutted, vibration, backfire ..) can be caused by this sensor.

It mounts directly, without using the connectors and replacement pins, on the Porsche 911 type 996 :

-> Porsche 996 Turbo with manual gearbox only :
- 996 3.6 Turbo - 420 hp (M96.70) from 2000 to 2005
- 996 3.6 Turbo X50 - 450 hp (M96.70) from 2001 to 2005
- 996 3.6 Turbo S - 450 hp (M96.70) of 2005

-> Porsche 996 GT2 :
- 996 3.6 GT2 - 462 hp (M96.70SL) from 2001 to 2004
- 996 3.6 GT2 - 483 hp (M96.70SL) of 2005

-> Porsche 996 GT3 :
- 996 phase 1 3.6 GT3 - 360 hp (M96.76) from 2000 to 2001
- 996 phase 2 3.6 GT3 - 380 hp (M96.79) from 2004 to 2005
- 996 phase 2 3.6 GT3 RS - 380 hp (M96.79) of 2004
