CSP envelope tubes for Type 4 engines are machined from solid aluminium (CNC), and anodised in black after machining. The manufacturing tolerances guarantee the best precision and sealing characteristics. An inside diameter of 20 mm provides maximum clearance for the push rod and perfect oil return from the cylinder head.

On the outside, the tubes are thinner and provide more space for installing the largest diameter sports exhaust manifolds. An additional shoulder on the crankcase side makes it easier to dismantle by leverage with a single 22 mm open-ended wrench.

This longer version offers two additional grooves on the engine block side to place the seals in the ideal position. The longer version can be used with 220 mm, 214.5 mm or 209 mm push rods like the original. High-quality seals are included in the set.
