Description Product
The door seal is a strip of rubber or foam which is placed around the door frame to create a seal between the door and the rest of the bodywork. Its main role is to prevent air, water, snow, dust and noise from entering the cabin, thus protecting the car's interior and preventing the formation of mold and rust. It also helps maintain the temperature inside the vehicle, reducing draughts and thus protecting against humidity.
Over time, door seals can wear, degrade or crack, leading to water leaks or wind noise. If you notice problems such as whistling noises, moisture inside the vehicle or difficulty in closing the door properly, this may be a sign that the door seal is damaged and needs replacing.
