Why use a TOOLATELIER chain puller?

Motorcycle chains are wearing parts. They need to be checked and changed when necessary.
This tool enables you to safely release the chain link. Thanks to the sturdy pin, you can rivet and drift your chains in complete safety.

Is this tool compatible with all chains?

It has been designed for chains with pitches from 35 to 525. In most cases, this information is visible on the side of the chain.

- Standard chains from 35 (e.g. chainsaw chain)
- Motorcycle/quad chains from 420 to 525

This set includes 3 sizes to fit most chain pins: 2.2, 2.9 and 3.8 mm

I used the drift/rive chain to replace my secondary chain on my Africa-Twin CRF1000L. Easy to use for the initiated, but lacks instructions for the others. Very good value for money.

The clamping lever is too soft, and as soon as you force it, it bends. Fortunately, you can remove it and replace it with a nail. After that, it's fine for occasional use.

The tool does the job, used on a moped chain. On the other hand, I find that the screw has some play in the tool. We'll have to see over time whether it degrades or not.

Poor quality product, broken when riveting my chain, to be avoided for large displacement chains.
